When the iRobot Combo j7+ realizes that it's on a surface that needs to be cleaned with water, a small robot arm is raised and swings a small mopping pad underneath it. This is an incredibly user-friendly system, and it performed flawlessly during my tests. However, I found that it was unable to completely remove liquids that are water-based, such as wine or juice. Fortunately the mopping pad can be cleaned and reused.
The iRobot Combo's front camera is also useful. It can identify hazards, such as power cables and pet waste, and will steer clear of them to ensure a thorough cleaning. This feature is better than most robot vacuums' cameras, which could get stuck on things like rug tassels. The iRobot Combo ju7+ front camera has blind spots that can cause it to miss certain objects.
The iRobot Combo ju7+ may be expensive but its performance is good enough to justify the price. It's a highly rated product from its customers, who love its clever features. However, it's worth looking at alternatives, such as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's less expensive than iRobot Combo h7+, and it can heed voice commands without needing for third-party integration. It can also mop and vacuum in one go. Additionally, it comes with a huge water tank, and its mopping pads are self-cleaning.
Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision
The Scout RX3 Home Vision robot vacuum and mop is a fully-featured robot vacuum with all the features you'd expect from the top brands. You can remotely monitor your home with its camera and you can even watch it in action via the app. (Although the app does not offer the same high-resolution images like the camera).
Mops are excellent for cleaning tile or wood, as well as picking up dust, pet hair, and dirt. They come with an effective obstacle avoidance system that does not push light, small objects like toys or socks across the floor. It's the most efficient mopping robot we've examined. It also comes with a magnetic strip you can use to block off areas that the robot won't be capable of reaching like rooms that have a lot of cables.
Unfortunately, the robot is not equipped with the other aspects that are expected of the type of robot it is. While the mops do an excellent job, their maximum running time is 60 minutes, which is a little less than what we'd like to see on such a high-end product. Also, it doesn't automatically empty itself into its charging station, or follow up mopping sessions with a quick vacuum.
However, it's still an excellent choice for those who have large homes as the mapping and cleaning processes are fast and efficient. The app is easy to use, and you can set schedules. If you don't have a reliable internet connection, you can still control it using the remote, or with voice integrations with Alexa.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision is costly, but it offers numerous smart functions that make up the price. Its live home monitoring feature is excellent and also looks amazing. It's a great option for anyone who has pets, children, or who would like to keep an eye on their home when they are away. The majority of people who own a robot mop and vacuum are amazed at the difference their floors look after using them often.
Roborock S7 Max Ultra
Roborock's newest robot vacuum and mop combo self-empty model, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon) is a great upgrade over the already excellent S6 and S7 models. It adds a host of useful features, such as more aggressive mopping as well as higher-powered suction (up to 5,100Pa compared to earlier models which had a lower power of 2,400Pa). It also features a precise lidar navigation system that functions in 3D similar to radar. This lets it detect things like chair legs, baseboards and furniture legs so it can maneuver them with ease. It is also able to create customized cleaning routines you can launch by pressing a button for example, the "After meals" mode that scrubbing and scrubs kitchen floors.
This two-in-one features one unique feature not present in other robots. VibraRise raises the mopping pad when it detects carpeting in order to prevent getting the area rugs wet. While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks but it's not without a few drawbacks. The price is the most significant. It's the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop set-up I've ever reviewed. The other issues aren't specific to this particular model but more indicative of robotic vacuums in general It isn't able to handle heavy spills and large, sticky messes well.

The Freo's impressive cleaning performance and wide array of customization options makes it an excellent choice for any home that requires a combination cleaner. The lack of advanced obstacle-avoidance technology, as well as a sleek mobile app has dampened our enthusiasm for this model.
